P.F. Chang’s has signed as the first restaurant anchor at Butler Town Center, the urban-style phase of The Neighborhoods of Butler, developer Butler Enterprises announced today.
The internationally renowned 5,600 square-foot upscale Asian bistro will join Whole Foods Market in anchoring the mixed-use Butler Town Center. Whole Foods Market is projected to open in winter 2017, while P.F. Chang’s will debut with the rest of the center in 2018.
“Butler Town Center is designed for how we live today,” said Dwayne Chambers, Chief Marketing Officer for P.F. Chang’s. “It’s an excellent fit for P.F. Chang’s and we’re really looking forward to sharing our Farm to Wok food philosophy with the entire Gainesville community.” Farm to Wok has been P.F. Chang’s food philosophy since inception; every restaurant cooks from scratch using clean, wholesome ingredients, purposeful recipes and the power of the fiery wok.
P.F. Chang’s menu will feature classic dishes like Chicken Lettuce Wraps, Cecilia’s Dumplings and Mongolian Beef, as well as an expansive list of wine, beer and specialty cocktail offerings.
“We’re very excited that P.F. Chang’s will offer its unique blend of classic Asian and contemporary cuisine for lunch, happy hour and dinner at Butler Town Center. It will be the first of many fine dining experiences we plan to offer our guests,” says Deborah Butler, President of Butler Enterprises. “Dining out is an important part of the urban experience, and we’re planning a diverse mix of chef-driven restaurants, cafes and nationally known names.”
Construction is underway on the mixed-use Butler Town Center, the capstone to Butler’s 267-acre project. Scheduled to open in Fall 2018, Butler Town Center will be a Main Street-style collection of carefully curated boutiques, restaurants, entertainment and residences not found in any other location in North Central Florida.
Located on State Road 24 (Archer Road), Interstate 75 and State Road 121 (34th Street), the 1.9 million-square-foot Neighborhoods of Butler consist of Butler Plaza, Butler North and Butler Town Center, and will house nearly 300 retailers, food options, entertainment and services, as well as 200 residences upon completion.

ABOUT P.F. CHANG’S
Founded in 1993 by Philip Chiang and Paul Fleming, P.F. Chang’s is the first multi-unit restaurant concept in the U.S. to honor and celebrate the 2,000-year-old tradition of wok cooking as the center of the guest experience. Since inception, P.F. Chang’s chefs have been hand-rolling dim sum, hand chopping and slicing all vegetables and meats, scratch cooking every sauce and wok-cooking each dish, every day in every restaurant. P.F. Chang’s new Farm to Wok™ menu highlights its wholesome, scratch-cooking approach and introduces new dishes and drinks for lunch, happy hour and dinner. Today, P.F. Chang’s has 215 U.S. restaurants, including three airport locations, plus 66 international locations in 19 countries across the globe.
Three distinctive projects, one powerful vision: Butler Enterprises’ collection of centers in the core of Gainesville continues to enhance the economic and commercial hub of North Central Florida. Sitting on 267 acres in the best location in the market – bounded by State Road 24 (Archer Road), Interstate 75 and State Road 121 (34th Street) – the Butler complex consists of Butler Plaza, an area icon since 1975 including Restaurant Row at Butler Plaza™ and The Shoppes at Butler; Butler North, with destination retail, specialty shops and dining; and Butler Town Center, a Main Street-style collection of carefully curated boutiques, restaurants, entertainment and residences, scheduled to open in 2018.
