The Gainesville Area Chamber of Commerce has organized a quarterly lunch series entitled "Key Decision Makers," uniting Business owners, Presidents, CEOs, General Managers and other influential decision makers to discuss relevant topics affecting their businesses. After thirty minutes of lunch and networking, the tables of eight begin discussions on the topic. After thirty minutes the participants switch tables and continue discussing new questions pertaining to the topic. The first Key Decision Makers Lunch of 2009 will be held at Sweetwater Branch Inn on February 12, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and the topic is "Selecting the Right Employees." Some other questions that will be discussed are: "What should you cover in an interview?" "What is your most important question to ask during an interview?" "How important are background and reference checks?" "How do you measure attitude and where do you rank it in importance?"
