Celebration Pointe Bridge Walk & Fall FestivalOctober 18th, 2016 by gainesvillechamber
The public is encouraged to attend the Celebration Pointe Bridge Walk & Fall Festival on Saturday, November 5. The event is a fundraiser for the Child Advocacy Center (CAC) of Gainesville, which works to break the cycle of child abuse by providing a child friendly, safe and supportive environment for abused, neglected and trafficked children. The event also serves as a ribbon cutting for the new bridge over I-75 at SW 30th Road, connecting major new mixed-use development Celebration Pointe to the eastern portion of Gainesville. In addition to a commemorative walk over the bridge, there will be food trucks and music.
It begins at 10am and ends at 2pm, with no cost except for those who choose to join the fundraising walk ($15). The event will be held at the end of SW 45th Street off SW Archer Road, just west of I-75.
