Attorney Julie Waldman Receives Rotary RecognitionSeptember 6th, 2016 by gainesvillechamber
Attorney Julie Waldman was recently recognized by the Gainesville Rotary Club as the “Rookie of the Year” for Service Above Self. Ms. Waldman joined the Gainesville Rotary Club in March, 2015, and quickly became involved in several programs focused on youth in the community. She chairs a committee focused on leadership development for high school juniors and seniors for her local Club and has been appointed to serve on the District 6970 Board, which encompasses 12 counties and 61 Rotary clubs in northeast Florida, for a youth leadership conference.
Ms. Waldman is the Deputy General Counsel for the Agency for Persons with Disabilities. She has dedicated her career to helping Florida’s most vulnerable citizens – children, the elderly and the developmentally disabled.
