Todd Chase to be Interviewed for PSCAugust 9th, 2016 by gainesvillechamber
A Nominating Council will interview City of Gainesville Commissioner Todd Chase on August 17 for a post on the Florida Public Service Commission. Chase is one of eight candidates vying to serve on the Commission, which regulates Florida private utilities and certain municipal utilities. The selected candidate will succeed Lisa Edgar, who has served on the Commission for the past 11 years.
The other seven candidates for the post are Jeffrey Bragg, a past director of a federal terrorism risk insurance program; Thomas P. Brantley, a Leon County engineer; John. R. Coleman, a retired New York State Department of Public Service supervisor; Jeffrey S. Foster, a City of Jacksonville project manager; Stuart W. Pollins, a deputy policy coordinator in Governor Rick Scott’s Office of Policy and Budget; Donald J. Polmann, a former Tampa Bay Water engineer; and Cynthia J. Wilson Orndoff, a Florida SouthWestern State College professor and faculty member at Everglades University in Sarasota.
