BEBR Creates New Data Dashboard for Alachua CountyAugust 30th, 2016 by gainesvillechamber
The University of Florida’s Bureau of Economic and Business Research (BEBR) has been known as Florida’s data source for decades. BEBR provides population, economic and other data that is used by a wide variety of constituents. These users are both public and private and include college students and faculty, state government, water management districts, private businesses, city and county planners, regional planning councils, chambers of commerce, healthcare providers, and private citizens.
In the past, this data was made available in print form in the volume Florida Statistical Abstract. More recently, BEBR has developed an online database to provide this data. The database currently has 7,500 data series. The subset of this data that is important to those that live in Alachua County has been compiled into a dashboard that can be accessed by clicking here.
For questions and/or feedback about the dashboard itself, please contact Steven J. Rowe at 352.392.0171 x 138 or email@example.com.
