The Gainesville Technology Council Discusses Infrastructure, Talent and MarketingApril 9th, 2016 by gainesvillechamber
The Gainesville Technology Council held its quarterly board meeting on Wednesday, April 6, at the Chamber. This year the Tech Council is focusing on three main areas including: Building tech infrastructure, marketing the local tech industry, and attracting and retaining top tech talent. Each area has a team of Tech Council members dedicated to identifying challenges and solutions to further the continued growth and success of the local tech community. Led by Augi Lye, 2016 chair, the tech council is actively working to connect and grow the local technology industry and benefit all companies and startups by partnering with other local organizations. The next Tech Council event will be held in partnership with GAIN and ACEL to connect members from each group at one event. Mark your calendars for May 6 at 6 p.m. at the new World of Beer in the University Town Center. Check out the Gainesville Chamber event calendar for more details.
The event is free to GAIN, ACEL or Tech Council members. Not sure if you are a member of the Tech Council? Contact Tabetha Getz at firstname.lastname@example.org to learn more.
