Leadership Gainesville, now in its 43rd year, is a ten-month community leadership program designed to identify, education, and develop leadership skills. LG is a combination of in-depth issue seminars and regional issues-exposure programs.
Enrollment & Nomination Process
There are only 50 participant slots available for people who hold mid-level management positions, or business owners, and have been identified as having high potential for an executive, business, or community leadership role.
The program begins in August of each calendar year. The investment for participation is $1,600 which must be paid in full by June 30, 2016 to guarantee a spot in this year’s class. This year’s program will be held on the following dates:

August 11 – Your Leadership Style
September 8 – Policy for Everyday People
October 13 – Medical Matters
November 10 – Training Tomorrow’s Talent
December 8 – Human Needs and Equity Day
January 14 – One Community
February 9 – “I Didn’t Know That”
March 9 – Day in the Swamp
April 13 – Gainesville in a Global Economy
May 11 – Leading Among Leaders
May 19 – LG43 Graduation
