James Moore, Certified Public Accountants and Consultants (James Moore) is pleased to welcome Deborah Beyerl, Steven Bockman, Michael Messano, and Tracy Postlethwaite to the firm.
Beyerl will serve as a Senior Consultant in the Accounting and Controllership Services department. Beyerl has nearly twenty years of bookkeeping and office managerial experience. Prior to joining the firm, she worked as a Bookkeeper and Office Manager for a construction company in Ormond Beach, Florida for seven years where she managed all accounts payable, accounts receivable, processing of expense reports, monthly vendor statement reconciliations, as well as monthly company reports and financial statements. Beyerl also performed workmen’s compensation and general liability audits as well as maintained and audited all phone contracts and services. As a Senior Consultant, Beyerl will be responsible for advanced bookkeeping and accounting services for the firm’s business and nonprofit clients.
Bockman has been hired as a Staff Accountant. Prior to joining the firm, Bockman worked as an Accounting & Tax Specialist for an accounting firm in Gulf Breeze, Florida where he prepared and assisted in more than 100 individual and corporate tax returns. Bockman also performed compilations and reviews of defense subcontractor’s financial statements; prepared and filed quarterly payroll taxes and deposits; calculated estate tax return exemptions and sales tax payments; as well as assisted clients in forming limited liability companies, S corporations, and C corporations. Bockman received his bachelor’s degree in accountancy from the University of West Florida. As a Staff Accountant, Bockman will provide a range of services including auditing and tax work.
Messano will serve as a Staff Accountant. While completing his undergraduate degree, Messano interned at a trucking accessories company in Maitland, Florida where he prepared intercompany transactions for financial statement consolidation and performed a variety of bookkeeping functions. Messano received a Bachelor of Business Administration and Accounting from the University of Central
Florida in 2015. As a Staff Accountant, Messano will provide a range of services including auditing and tax work.
Postlethwaite has been hired as a Staff Consultant in the Accounting and Controllership Services department. Prior to joining the firm, Postlethwaite worked as an Accounting Clerk for a healthcare practice management company in Gainesville, Florida. As an Accounting Clerk, Postlethwaite prepared monthly financial reports, quarterly payroll tax returns, and federal income tax returns for practices. She was also responsible for the company’s client billing and accounts receivable. As a Staff Consultant, Postlethwaite will provide a range of services; including processing accounts payable and receivable, processing payroll transactions, performing bookkeeping and accounting services for non-profit clients, and preparing financial statements for clients.
