James Moore, Certified Public Accountants and Consultants (James Moore) is pleased to welcome Rick Feldman, Doreen Kidd, Troy Land, and Farah Rajaee to the firm.
Feldman, Certified Public Accountant, will serve as a Senior Consultant in the Accounting and Controllership Services department. Prior to joining the firm, Feldman served as an Accounting Services Manager for the City of Tallahassee, Florida, where he supervised more than thirty employees in planning and executing a comprehensive array of municipal accounting functions. Feldman administered the process for year-end audit and state financial reporting, and ensured accounting compliance with various federal, state, and local regulatory requirements. Feldman also maintained internal controls that safeguarded resources, reliability of financial information, and compliance requirements. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Feldman received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Florida State University. As a Senior Consultant, Feldman will be responsible for advanced bookkeeping and accounting services for the firm’s business and nonprofit clients.
Kidd will serve as a Staff Consultant in the Accounting and Controllership Services department. Kidd’s experience includes working as an Accountant for a property management company in Daytona Beach, Florida performing various accounting functions for several hotels. Kidd has managed several investment properties and performs accounting and bookkeeping functions related to her properties. Kidd received her diploma in Accounting from Hamilton College, Cedar Rapids, Iowa. As a Staff Consultant, Kidd will provide a range of services, including generating data reports, creating data directories for file, receiving processed data, and performing data entry for client payables.
Land has been hired as a Senior Consultant in the Accounting and Controllership Services department. Land’s experience includes serving as the owner of a tax preparation company in Live Oak and Lake City, Florida, in addition to providing tax preparation services for businesses and individuals. Land also served as the Chief Financial Officer for a flooring company in Lake City, Florida. As the Chief Financial Officer,
Land oversaw all accounting, purchasing and payroll activities for more than eight companies. Land also oversaw all fiscal reporting activities and company retirement, health and benefit plans for the company’s employees. Land received a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Florida State University. As a Senior Consultant, Land will be responsible for advanced bookkeeping and accounting services for the firm’s business and nonprofit clients.
Rajaee will serve as a Data Entry Assistant in the Accounting and Controllership Services department. She is currently pursuing her degree in Accounting at the University of Florida in conjunction with working at James Moore. As a Data Entry Assistant, Rajaee will be responsible for updating and maintaining database information for client payables and financial reports.
