North Central Florida Welcomes First CFMA Chapter

The Construction Finance Management Association (CFMA) is recognized as “The Source & Resource for Construction Financial Excellence.” CFMA’s North Central Florida Chapter will host its first meeting on Wednesday, Nov. 7. Networking will begin at 11:30 a.m., followed by presentations addressing liability and bonding from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. The event will be held at Charles Perry Partners, Inc. (8200 N.W. 15th Place, Gainesville).

Eric Parker, Vice President, and Kelcey Hines, Client Advocate, of Willis of Florida, will address basic liability policies, potential risks, and steps to take in response to claims. Ben French, Vice President/Principal of Waldorff Insurance & Bonding will focus his presentation on surety bonds and corresponding checklists, selecting a reliable producer and CPA to meet your needs, as well as addressing financial statements in bonding.

There is a $15 fee for lunch. Members and non-members can pay at the door or in advance by submitting a check payable to CFMA – NCF Chapter to:
