LGAA’s Leadership Series Presents Dr. Donnie Horner: The History of Leadership
October 22nd, 2012 by gainesvillechamberJoin Leadership Gainesville Alumni Association for the first in a series of leadership themed lunches as we welcome Dr. Donnie Horner on Tuesday, Oct. 30, 11:30 to 1:00 p.m. at the Hilton UF Conference Center. Dr. Horner is an acclaimed leadership expert, a graduate of West Point, followed by a master’s from MIT and doctorate from Stanford. Her served as Brigade Operations Officers during the Bosnia-Herzegovina campaign and was the Distinguished Professor of Leadership Education in the Department of Leadership, Ethics and Law at the United States Naval Academy. Currently, Dr. Horner serves as the education commissioner for the City of Jacksonville and director of Jacksonville University’s Davis Leadership Center. With Dr. Horner’s engaging and witty delivery, he teaches the essence of leadership to both emerging leaders and seasoned professionals. Registration is open to LGAA members and their guests.
